¶ Installing USB driver for RS232 using Zadig
¶ Step 1: Initial Setup
- Power on both PCs.
- On the second PC, run the
zadig.exeapplication.
¶ Step 2: List All Devices

Click Options and select List All Devices.
¶ Step 3: Select the Correct Interface

In the USB Device dropdown, choose Quad RS232-HS (Interface 0).
Important: Ensure you select Interface 0 to avoid corruption of your DMA.
¶ Step 4: Install or Replace the Driver

Press Replace Driver or Install Driver.

Wait for the driver to install, which can take up to 5 minutes.
¶ Step 5: Prepare the Firmware
- Rename the firmware file to
pcileech_screamer_m2_top.bin.
¶ Step 6: Start Firmware Burning

Navigate to the OCD Folder.

Run the
flash.batfile to begin the firmware burning process.

The process may take up to 5 minutes. Note that it might appear to be stuck at sector 23; this is normal.
¶ Step 7: Complete the Process
- Once the firmware burning is complete, restart your PC twice.
- Firmware burning is successful when the speed appears during the DMA Speed Test.
